The Needles.
Situated on the wonderful coastline at Alum Bay, The Needles offer some great attractions. Watch the wonderfully skilled craftsmen at Alum Bay Glass, enjoy some hand made sweets at the sweet factory. Take the chair lift down to the beach and look back at the coloured sands in the cliff, or take a boat trip to the Needles Lighthouse.
Magic in the skies - A spectacular fireworks display at 9.30pm every thursday throughout August 2006.
Opening times are from 10am - 1st April to the end of October.
There are no admission charges to the site, all day parking is £3 per car and a selection of pay-as-you-go attractions.

Adgestone Vineyard.
Situated at Adgestone, near Sandown. Visit the vineyard and a working winery. Highlights include cellar tours as seen on BBC TV, wine tasting and a cafe with breathtaking views. You can also have wine bottled with personalised with your own labels.

Admission is free but charges are made for the tours.

Arreton Manor and Craft Village.
One of the most historic houses on the Isle of Wight. Guided tours are available, along with knot garden and licensed tearoom. Visit the traditional working craft village, 12th Century Church and tearooms.

Carisbrooke Castle.
Situated near Newport. Carisbrooke Castle is where Charles I was imprisioned. View the 161ft well, motte, Bailey castle and a 16th Century wheel still turned by donkeys.

Osbourne House.
The Isle of Wight country retreat of Queen Victoria & Prince Albert. Still in much the same condition as it was when Queen Victoria died in 1901. Enjoy the glorious Garden and the Swiss Cottage where the young royal children played.

Isle of Wight Zoo.
Situated close to the seafront in Sandown. Home of the Tiger Sanctuary and Lemurland for rare and endangered species, including tigers, lions, birds and reptiles.
